The TIA is the research source for the tennis industry, providing timely market intelligence that allows our industry constituents to make the most informed strategic business decisions possible. Each year, we produce nearly 70 tennis specific reports.

State of the Tennis Industry

The State of the Tennis Industry is published annually and is an analysis of the more than 70+ reports conducted each year by the Tennis Industry Association. This 16 page document narrates the story of the tennis industry from the previous year by focusing on four key segments including the economy and tennis, tennis supply, tennis demand and media/pro events.

Facility Assessment Report

Contained in this report are general facility trends as well as data pertaining to tennis programming at facilities and facility operational costs. Also included in this year’s report is general data regarding facility membership numbers, average annual membership dues (relative to number of courts and facility type), court usage and fees, and more!

Tennis Participation Study

The Early Season and Late Season Court Activity Monitor (CAM) was developed as a national facility audit to supplement participation and census data by monitoring the amount of tennis activity at facilities across the country. This report covers the increase/decrease in activity compared to the previous year for: total courts booked/used, league play, new players, and tournament play.

National Court Report

The data shown is representative of the information provided by nearly 14,000 facilities that are offering programming and tennis instruction on nearly 92,000 courts. We estimate there are an additional 25,000 courts at facilities that offer programming and another 150,000 tennis courts at residential, apartment complex, condos, hotels and community areas.
